We really enjoyed this tour. Francesc was very knowledgeable about the city and the Gothic and Jewish quarter. It’s a lot of walking, but we would never have seen the things we did, if we tried to do it on our own. Francesc commentary of the area helped us understand the history of the jews in Barcelona in the 13th and 14th centuries. The Jewish area itself was not that large, and the “small” temple was not as I has imagined. Very worth while for Jews and non jews alike
Francesc’s Response: Thank you Leon. You are right: for Jewish and no Jewish. Unfortunately Jewish people were expelled from the Aragon Crown and Castilla in the XVth Century and it’s just in this last decades that we are doing efforts to recover their memory. Thank you for letting me show it.

I would highly recommend Francesc. We began communicating 6 months prior to our cruise and I found him very responsive and knowledgeable. He communicated frequently and developed a great 4 hour tour of the city including transportation to our cruise ship.
Frances’c Response: Hello Mary Anne. You have a lovely family! It was great to tour you through the city. They were interested and asked questions that make the tour more fluent. Enjoy your trips

Francesc really took his time to explain our route prior to our departure from the hotel. During the path, he stopped several times to explain what we were looking at and the history and architectural design behind it. He is a true pro!
