«Great 2 Days in Barcelona..» – Tripadvisors
Family trip to Barcelona, teenagers included. We split the tour in two days, four hours each day… first day with Maria Jesus, she was fun and knowledgeable, visited Sagrada Familia, Park Guel, and at the end of the trip she recommended lunch @ El Nacional… Second day with Francesc… also fun & extremely knowledgeable of Barrio Gotico, finished day having lunch by the Mercado Boqueria. there’s no better way to get to know Barcelona, except with experts and wonderful people like Francesc and Maria Jesus.. highly recommended!!

We would never have learned as much about Barcelona’s top sites without Francesc! We toured a house designed by Gaudi, the Parc Gruell and Sagreda Familia. At each stop, Francesc added information we would never have gotten on our own. He was delightful, charming and very patient with our questions, and his English is great. I would highly recommend him!

PRO’S: Our hotel recommended Barcelona 365 and I am very glad they did. Francesc was unavailable but Agnes was superb. We asked them for a four person, six hour tour with van & driver. I’ve had many tours in Europe and this was one of the very best. Agnes was a Spanish history major and really knows how to make the tour exciting. We toured Sagrada Familia, Casa Botllyo, and the Gothic Quarter. Lots of interesting facts and she took us to a fine tapas restaurant for a break during the tour. Very enjoyable, fun tour of Barcelona CON’S: Absolutely none. SUMMARY: Happy to recommend Barcelona 365 for great private tours. We will use them when we return to Barcelona.

By the way, Agnes has told me that inside the Sagrada Familia a man asked her why his guide had left him in the door and let him go in alone while she was with your group explaining inside the Church. We highly recommend taking a private tour of Sagrada Famillia and Park Guell. We had guide Francesc and he was very knowledgeable about Gaudi and the buildings we viewed. Visiting Sagrada Famillia was the highlight of our visit to Barcelona.

«Montserrat (6H – Trip out Barcelona)» – TBL
Francesc guided our group of 8 adults to Montserrat. It was probably the best tour we have ever taken right from the moment he met us outside our hotel. He timed every step so that we maximized every opportunity and always stayed ahead of the crowds. We enjoyed his company; we learned a lot, we marvelled at the splendour of the mountain and the history of the monastery.mwell done. This is our second time with Tours by Locals and we will definitely return for more.

«Montserrat (6H – Trip out Barcelona)» – TBL
The drive was comfortable and the sight itself was very interesting. However, I didn’t feel that Francesc was very efficient in how we used our time. Had we left the hotel a half an hour earlier, we might have missed more of the big tour bus crowds and had time to ride the funicular, which we very much wanted to do. Linda Ps. It also would have been nice to have had water in the car for an all day tour.

Francesc’s Response: Hello William. Thanks so much for your review that without any doubt helps me to improve. I’m so sorry we found so many busses that day. Actually I have anticipated the start time of the tour to 8am to prevent that busses arrive before us. My idea is always to avoid the mass. I’m glad that we could visit the Madonna, latter the Sanctuary and we sat down in the second bench of the Church to listen the boy’s choir (I knew that it was the priority for your wife). I took three private tours with Barcelona365 the last week of August. I found them on Trip Advisor and reached out to Francesc. He was prompt and concise in our email correspondence and provided the information I needed to make the decision to book with him. Also his terms were more than reasonable – only a small deposit was required. The first two tours were the «Must See Places in Barcelona. These are 4 hour tours taken over 2 days. Our guide was Mar and she was very personable. The information provided was clear and in the proper dose for our group. We enjoyed having her as our guide. Mar took us to a great spot for lunch and provided a great recommendation for dinner which we loved. The third tour was with Francesc and we took a day trip to Figueres and Girona. Francesc was also very personable. At my request we took public transportation (train) which I reserved in advance with the help of Francesc. We loved the Dali Museum and Girona. It was fun to step out of Barcelona for the day. Francesc also encouraged us to visit Sitges and we loved that as well. He gave us information on how to get their on our own and he was quite easy. I highly recommend Barcelona365.

«Gaudi Tour: Sagrada Familia and more» – TBL
Fantastic tour!! Francesc knew exactly where to go & guided us around the huge crowds so we were able to see as much of Gaudi’s work as possible in 5 hrs.

Francesc gave us a phenomenal tour of Barcelona. The 8 hour tour actually was almost 9 hours and covered areas of Barcelona we would not have discovered otherwise. The restaurant he selected for a late lunch was superb and not one frequented by tourists. A thoroughly enjoyable and memorable experience.
