Francesc was a delightful guide who’s knowledge of Gaudi made our tour an enlightening and enjoyable experience. The more questions we asked the more he delved into the skills of this remarkable man. His explanations on Gaudi’s innovative engineering techniques left us in no doubt of the genious of this remarkable architect. A well worthwhile tour. Greg W.

« Barcelona in 4 hours » – TBL
Francesc provided us with a very enjoyable 4 hour tour of Barcelona – too bad we could not manage a longer tour to see a few more of the sites of Barcelona. Francesc was very knowledgable and was able to provide informative answers to all of our questions. He was a pleasure to be with and it was apparent that he was very proud of his city and enjoyed presenting it to others. On top of all this, Francesc a sore throat but still gave us a great tour of Barcelona.

Our group of six adults just returned from our amazing trip to Barcelona. We were spending two days before a Mediterranean cruise in Barcelona and we were so pleased with our tour with Francesc. He was very professional, well informed, attentive and so excited to share his city with us. Our first day we had a two hour tour of Gaudi sites since this was the day we arrived in Barcelona. Francesc was so interested in telling us about Gaudi as a person and an architect and a deeply religious man. We truly believe that we have a much better understanding and appreciation of Gaudi because of our tour with Francesc. Then the next day we had a six hour tour of the Segrada Familia, the Gothic Quarter, the Ramblas, Boqueria, and Picasso Museum. What an amazing day! Francesc designed our tour according to our interests and we were so pleased with our day. We toured the interior of the Segrada Familia where Francesc explained the details of the building’s design. We toured the Boqueria and had a tasting…delicious! We ended our day with a tour of the Gothiic Quarter and Picasso Museum. We even had time for a quick lunch of some local specialties. Francesc was an excellent guide and very thoughtful and considerate of our interests even making some suggestions for our remaining time in Barcelona. He was truly our favorite tour guide of our trip! Thank you Francesc!

« Tapas & Pintxos in the Old Town » – TBL
The guide is great, but I did not understand I was to pay for everything and to have cash to do so. I think the tour is over-priced given it pays only for the guide. I would not recommend it as described, but the guide is knowledgeable, friendly, and has a great knowledge of fun things to do.

Francesc’s Response: Hi Denise. As you can read in the Tour Description, Tapas are not included in the cost of the tour. Unfortunately some times we are in a hurry and we don’t read this important parts of the tour description. I don’t include the cost food in the cost of the tour because I prefer that people feel free to eat what they want and not just what the budget includes. It allows you to feel as a local that eat what you want and not just as a traveler

Francesc is a wonderful guide.. He is knowledgable, caring and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to him as he gave us information not he various sights we were seeing…. I would recommend Francesc to anyone who wants a guide who cares and enjoys his work.

Hire Francesc for this tour! On the way to Montserrat Francesc provided geological and historical explanations to the area – not a minute was lost and it was non-stop information. Once at the Abbey you had a background and you were ready to have the visual filled in of the Black Madonna etc. To break up the « church » experience we did a bit of hiking to end with the most delicious tasting of yogurt and cake — which Francesc brought to life with stories of his youth. Really special day for us!

Book Francesc for your guide! He is a wonderful guide – knowledgable about everything and very caring about your travel experience. He loves Barcelona and after spending time wit Francesc you will love Barcelona too. His tours are so special that you just have to experience them. We hired him for 4 days and it was simply the best experience ever!
