Francesc was a great guide. Incredibly knowledgeable and well informed, he give my wife and I the perfect introduction to Barcelona. Really appreciated his thoughtful « holistic » approach to the sights and his detailed knowledge of the history and specifics of whatever sight we were seeing. Highly recommend.

We learned many facts and insights as well as gaining an understanding of the soul of Catalonia. He is also very personable and patiently answered all our questions about the history of the city and current popular culture and issues. Francesc was delightful. He has a great personality and a clear love of Barcelona. He even managed to make the tour fun for my 3 teenage daughters, which is saying a lot. He tailored the tour to exactly what we wanted to see…mixing in a little history with the fun food markets in the old town. Francesc is very enthusiastic and knowledgable about his city!

Francesc is a wonderful guide. We spent 8 hours with him touring Barcelona. He is very proud of his city and it shows. He is engaging and very knowledgeable. He took us for lunch at a marvelous tapas restaurant where we had a chance to question him on specific details of the morning tour and Spain in general. He let us linger when we wanted to see more of a certain area and we never felt rushed or hurried. He really knows his way around.

My friends and I want to thank Francesc for an amazing tour. He met us at our hotel and gave us a visual presentation on his I-pad about the history of Barcelona. We then went for a walk through the Gothic quarter. We learned so much from Francesc and he answered all of our questions. His passion for his job and city made this tour so enjoyable. He changed the tour for us so we could visit another area of Barcelona. By the end of the tour we got to know Barcelona and we made a new friend.

« Gaudi Tour: Sagrada Familia and more » –  TBL
This is the second time we have toured Barcelona with Francisc. He is without a doubt the most personable and knowledgeable tour guide we have ever had the pleasure of using. We did a two day tour of Barcelona and then on the third day he drove us to Montserrat in his new SUV. Thanks to his knowledge of the crowds at that very popular site we were able to beat the long lines and see everything we had hoped to on our day at Montserrat.

Francesc’s Response: It was a pleasure to see you again, in this occasion with your friends. Besides I was very happy that in these holidays you could finally visit Montserrat. Montserrat is very crowded in high season and it was a great idea to anticipate the tour 30 minutes (now I have rescheduled the tour in this way). A big hug from Barcelona to all of you and I hope our path will cross again.

My wife and I visited Barcelona this April. The weather was great and our tour guide Fransesc was fantastic. We toured several sites in town before taking a taxi to the Sagrada Familia. The walking tours were wrapped up with a trip thru « old town ». My wife agreed it was the best ever walking guided tours we’ve ever had and a best guide.
Only thing that would have been better is if we had more days to see more sights with Francesc, he was well prepared, totally informed and compleatly fluent in English and several other languages.
