\nWe were extremely happy with the tour of Old Town Barcelona that Francesc guided. Francesc is obviously passionate about his city and extremely well informed. He answered in detail every question I asked. He was always pleasant and understanding. He was very understanding of my husband’s arthritis and slowed his walking and the tour appropriately. Of the eight tours I took over the last three weeks his and one other by Tours by Locals were the best. I wouldn’t hesitate to go with him again.<\/em><\/p>\n

Francesc si \u00e8 rivelato una guida molto preparata e organizzata. Il suo salta la fila \u00e8 stato perfetto, neanche un solo minuto d\u2019attesa ai vari ingressi. Molto utile \u00e8 stato l\u2019utilizzo degli auricolari che consente di scattare foto e video, anche a distanza da lui, mentre si ascolta quello che dice. Le sue spiegazioni storiche\/architettoniche ricche di aneddoti, si sono rivelate preziose nel capire e cogliere diversi particolari significativi di tutto quello che si osservava. Senza di lui sicuramente non si sarebbero apprezzati una moltitudine di dettagli architettonici o di opere d\u2019arti con duplice significato. \nWe had a fabulous day in Monserrat with Francesc. He and another guide, Suzie R. put together a personal tour just for us. We drove there in Francesc’s car (with a great sunroof so we didn’t miss a thing) and stopped for a special Catalan lunch along the way. Francesc and Suzie are extremely knowledgeable about history, art and architecture and they made it all fun. \nContact Francesc well ahead of time, because there are a lot of tourists in Barcelona and he is in demand.<\/em>
\nHe took us on three different full day out of town excursions — Montserrat, Girona, and Tarragona. All were great! Francesc is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, fun to be with, and introduced us to some great very local restaurants.<\/em>
\nFrancesc as tied up and arranged for another guide on two days, which we spent in Barcelona itself. She was very good as well. Some city stuff can be done without a guide, but we tried the first day and missed a lot. I would strongly recommend a guide for the Gaudi sites.<\/em><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
