“The Barcelona of Picasso” – TBL
I tour all over the world and Francesc is one of the best guides I have had. He is easy to be with, relaxed but professional, very prepared, incorporates unique aspects into his tours such as the iPad and sitting in a restaurant over coffee to tell part of the story of Picasso, and points out places of interest along the way that are not related to Picasso. I appreciate art more because of this tour and he made the story of Picasso fun and interesting.

Francesc’s Response: Thank you Lori. I think is interesting to see Barcelona through the eyes of Picasso. I’m happy that you appreciate a bit more art after this tour

“The must-see places in Barcelona” – TBL
I tour all over the world and Francesc is one of the best guides I have had. He is easy to be with, relaxed but professional, attentive, and very prepared. He had everything planned out and timed very well. He did many extra things without asking such as having the taxi stop so we could get out and view the beach, which was very considerate as we had never seen it before. He was a fun lunch companion and we could have never seen as much of the city without him as we really only had one full day.

“Modernist Barcelona” – TBL
We did a tour with Francesc on July 2nd – Gaudi and Modernisme. Francesc is very knowledgeable about Barcelona, Gaudi and architecture. His explanations were most interesting and detailed and we had a very enjoyable afternoon with him. We would highly recommend Francesc, and the Gaudi tour.

“La Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell” – Tripadvisors
Francesc came highly recommended to me because of my particular interest in art, archecture and the culture. He spend a month helping me plan the correct tours to fit my needs, which he did! I do not think Francesc sleeps! In the day he gives tours of his lovely city and at night he answers his e-mails from all over the world which, is quiet a task! His knowlege of the Barcelona’s history, art and architecture was just what we wanted, added to this he is, personable charming and easy to understand. Would definitlay book again on another trip to Barcelona. Thank-you again Francesc for giving us some wonderful memeories/souvenirs to take home with us.

“One of the best tour guides we’ve had…” – Tripadvisors
We were travelling to Spain with our 3 college aged children and friends recommended Francesc to us. Spending two half days with Francesc was perfect to learn the history of Barcelona through its architecture, art and culture. He did a great job giving us an overview of the city lay out and recommended great restaurants, including Ciudad Condal. His culinary tour of Bogueria was fit for foodies! We covered a lot of ground to see all Gaudi and Francesc did an amazing job organizing it. He’s a wonderful teacher and included all political and social aspects in his tour. Loved Barcelona and left feeling that we had a deeper understanding and appreciation thanks to our time with Francesc!

“Tapas walking tour of Barcelona” – Tripadvisors
Our guide Francesc was outstanding. He was enthusiastic and so knowledgable. He described the city as we walked through the Gothic part and the tapas venues were excellent. So good we returned the next day for a further meal. A wonderful way to learn about the city and its food.

“Fantastic Customized Tour” – Tripadvisors
We had Francesc for a 4 hour tour on April 7 2015. We arranged the tour via email, reserving with a partial payment via PayPal. We traveled with our “young adult” kids (20 and 17). We asked Francesc for some specific things we wanted to see (La Rambla, Gothic quarter, La Sagrada Familia) and the rest of the time to get an overview of Barcelona. Francesc is very knowledgeable about his city and the many interesting sights (and sites) there are to visit. He was fantastic on our tour of La Sagrada Familia – both from the outside and when we toured the inside of this magnificent church. Without a knowledgeable guide, it would be difficult (impossible?) to understand some of the finer points of the design. In addition to his vast knowledge of Barcelona, Francesc is also very pleasant to be around. On our tour, there was a good amount of time where we had to wait for one thing or another – or during our taxi rides between locations. We enjoyed being with Francesc and being able to ask general questions about the Catalan culture, Barcelona, and even his family. He also made some good recommendations on restaurants (we know they were good, because we ate in one of his recommendations the night BEFORE our tour – it was amazing). Of course, the other advantage of having a professional tour guide is that we didn’t have to wait in line at La Sagrada Familia – either to buy tickets or to enter the church. We are returning to Barcelona in July as part of a Mediterranean cruise, and we will try to book Francesc again to see some of the things we missed, such as Park Guell.
