“Walking tour of The Old Town” – TBL
Francesc was fantastic. His knowledge of Barcelona was complete. We asked him to modify his normal intinerary to accommodate our cruise ship schedule. We were there for 2 different days but not enough to do an 8 hour tour. Francesc modified and combined this tour and his tour of gaudi inspirations, I believe it’s the 06 tour. His passion for the history, art, food, and beauty of his city is inspiring and made our visits something we will always remember.

Frances did an amazing job of explaining the historical aspects of The Jews in Spain and the Spanish Inquisition. We could not have had a better experience. He really did a great job of sharing small pieces of history with us. He packed every minute of our time with him with interesting information. All 9 of us had a great morning.

“Two districts of Barcelona” – TBL
We much enjoyed our tour of Poblenou & Horta. We learned how the old heart of Barcelona industry is being “renewed” and “restored,” in that the buildings are being converted to new uses. We also saw where the locals live and shop, including the local market with its fresh fish, meat, vegetables. We also heard about what it had been like to live in the District under Franco. Francesc provided insight on life in Catalonia in the past and now. He did a marvelous job. We loved the tour and learned much.

But you have already seen this and you wanted something off the beaten track. From now on I will offer this tour as a regular one. “Half day tour with Mariona” – Tripadvisors
Mariona gave us an excellent personalized trip of Barcelona. They were so prompt to all of our emails and requests when we set it up. She showed us a tour of downtown Barcelona and pointed out many of the buildings. It was like a dear old friend giving you a tour of their city. We then did a walking tour in old town, toured the Sagrada Famila and Park Guell. They ordered our tickets ahead for tour. Will definitely use them when we come back to see more sights in Barcelona. You won’t be disappointed.
