“Two wonderful days in Barcelona” – Tripadvisor
Just back from Barcelona and Madris and must say that our tours with Francesc were the highlight of the trip. He is well versed with the history and sights of the area, provided much interesting background and was passionate about the sights! Even our 4 teenagers stayed interested as Francesc was able to keep the sights and info relevant. We would highly recomend Francesc if you want to see, feel and understand Barcelona.

“Montserrat Tour” – Tripadvisor
We were took this tour the day we got off our cruise in Barcelona. Our tour guide Francesc was extremely knowledge and friendly. It was about a 1.5 hour drive to our destinaton and he provided us with a wealth of information and history on Barcelona and Spain itself the whole ride up. Montserrat was beautiful and our Francesc presented a wonderful tour. Our tour ended in the extremely busy Catalunya Square where we disembarked the bus with 8 pieces of luggage to go to our hotel – the Taxi situation was a bit crazy and not speaking Spanish we were a bit overwhelmed. Francesc was terrific and assisted in getting us transportation for us and our luggage. Thank you Francesc! It was an wonder day and my husband and i look forward to returning to Barcelona in the future.

“Extremely knowledgable and thorough guide” – Tripadvisor
Francesc conducted what turned out to be a 5-hour walking tour of Modernist architecture, including the interior of Casa Mila and Sagrada Familia, but also stops to look at unique pavements and light fixtures on Passaig de Gracia as well as the exteriors of other buildings by Gaudi and other architects. Francesc has a deep knowledge of Catalan history and weaves this into his discussion of architectural features. In addition, he spent time on the exhibits of building models, to explain Modernist innovations and to show how buildings were modified. As trained historians, we are quite demanding of guides. We found Francesc’s tour to be even more than we expected, and the 5-year old with us asked, afterwards, when we could have another guide.

This tour and visit of Monserrat was just wonderfull. Everything was very well explained and all answers just perfect. The guide nknew the history of Monserrat but also of Spain and many other places. Just fantastic. And a very nice person with a great personality.

We took a day trip from Barcelona, wanting to experience the Dali museum and some more of what this wonderful region has to offer. Francesc was so informative, and made this day just perfect. You truly get as much flavor and information about a place as to appreciate it to the fullest.

My Wife and I enjoyed an excellent tour of Barcelona with Francesc Garcia.Francesc guided us through a Gaudi house(Casa Mila),the-cathedral and the Sagrada Familia.Francesc had excellent knowledge of all the places visited aided by his excellent I-Pad maps and slides. tomorrow September 9th Fransesc will guide us around the Montjuic which iI am sure will be as enjoyable and interesting as yesterday. If Modernisme architecture and Antoni Guadi is your interest then Francesc is your guide;highly personable and knowledgable and recommended. Linda and Ken Foxcroft.

“Great tour” – Tripadvisor
The tour was amazing. Our guide, Fransesc, was extremely knowledgable and gave us details about all of the sights we visited. He was very friendly and engaging making our entire group enjoy every aspect of the tour. He also gave us opportunities to explore freely on our own for a bit or if we wished we could stay with him and see more of the city. I can honestly say he made the city come to life for all of us and gave us a better understanding of the sights we saw.

Our tour guide was Anthony and he was excellent. We’d already done a food tour and a bike tour. Going by car allowed us to see a wider variety and having an official tour guide allowed us access to La Sagrada Familia without having to wait in line. Anthony was extremely knowledgeable about Barcelona’s history and was very warm – if not always as fun has he hoped (but we found this somewhat with all the guides).

We spent several weeks in Spain this summer and feel so fortunate to have had Fransesc as our tour guide for 3 days in Barcelona. He worked with our group so beautifully and it was challenging considering the age range was from 5 years to 77 years of age. He was so knowledgeable, interesting, warm and accommodating. We had a wonderful time with him and learned so much. He took us to places we would not have known about in addition to the more famous sites. We were able to see so much more in three days than we could have ever covered on our own. It was key that we were able to avoid some of the lines. If not for this, we would not have been able to see the inside of Sagrada Familia among others. Our 5 year old twins and their grandmother simply could not have stood in the 2 1/2 hour line in the heat. We cannot say enough good things about Fransesc.
