“Barcelona in 4 hours” – TBL
Francesc is good and would book him again. He knows Barcelona and the Sagrada Familia church well. My reason for not giving a 5 is that we would like to have disembarked to take pictures at places like the olympic ring, the bull fighting building that was turned into a shopping center, etc. On his TBL site, he suggests we tell him custom things we want, but not having been there before we didn’t know what those were until it was too late…a suggestion for others to help Francesc make your tour better.

Francesc’s Response: Hello David, thanks for your comments! Your experience allows me to improve. I try to be very flexible in my tours: frequently we visit places that travelers ask me and are out of the list. Barcelona, as all the big cities, needs more than one day to be visited. I know that it is not going to change your tour but it’s said that once always have to leave something for the next trip. It would be my pleasure to tour you in some of these out of the beaten path places. I hope our path meets again!

“The must-see places in Barcelona” –  TBL
Francesc is a wonderful guide. We spent 8 hours with him touring Barcelona. He is very proud of his city and it shows. He is engaging and very knowledgeable. He took us for lunch at a marvelous tapas restaurant where we had a chance to question him on specific details of the morning tour and Spain in general. He let us linger when we wanted to see more of a certain area and we never felt rushed or hurried. He really knows his way around.

This is the second time we have toured Barcelona with Francisc. He is without a doubt the most personable and knowledgeable tour guide we have ever had the pleasure of using. We did a two day tour of Barcelona and then on the third day he drove us to Montserrat in his new SUV. Thanks to his knowledge of the crowds at that very popular site we were able to beat the long lines and see everything we had hoped to on our day at Montserrat.

Montserrat is very crowded in high season and it was a great idea to anticipate the tour 30 minutes (now I have rescheduled the tour in this way). Francesc gave us a passionate, knowledgeable and intimate tour of the old city of Barcelona (The Gothic Quarter). We learned many facts and insights as well as gaining an understanding of the soul of Catalonia. He is also very personable and patiently answered all our questions about the history of the city and current popular culture and issues. I give Francesc the highest recommendation and encourage anyone interested in Barcelona to allow him to introduce you to his city and its culture. Great Tour!

“Gaudi Tour: Sagrada Familia and more” –  TBL
We had used Francesc 2 times already and by now we felt like old friends. He did not disappoint us and since we only had one day to fit in all the “important” sites in Barcelona, he chose wisely and we were able to enjoy many of the sights, especially the Sagrada Cathedral. He has so much knowledge about Park Guell and the Cathedral and it was wonderful to be able to have someone who could answer our questions; instead of just taking the audio tour. We highly recommend him for any tour requirements.

Barcelona has been a dream of mine since I was 16 years old and 50 years later,and with the help of our fabulous guide, Francesc, my dream came true!!! Francesc is a very knowledgeable and passionate man about his city, which made this tour so incredible. Our tour of Gaudi’s Park Guell and Sagrada Familia were sights I will never forget, even through my tears!!! If you like unusual architecture, then this is tour for you and Francesc is the guide. Even his recommendations for dinner was fabulous.

With a very short time in Barcelona, this tour along with our guide, Francesc, gave us a wonderful overview of Old Barcelona. From the beautiful Barcelona Cathedral to City Hall to the market place along LaRambla to a hint of what was to come the next day. I so want to come back some day and see more.
