“Walking tour of the Old Town” – TBL
Great tour, Francesc is very knowlegable and shows you a great snapshot of the history of Barcelona. We had morning tour which was not so crowded, would recommend that.

Francesc’s Response: Thank you Erica. The “snapshot of the history” is just what I look for. Just to understand the history to understand what we are seeing but not a lesson (unless that you want to go deep in it, which will be always my pleasure)

Francesc was absolutely spectacular! He brought Barcelona to life for the entire family (two teenage daughters). We had fun & we learned so much. His knowledge was limitless. His interest in sharing his passion for the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi buildings and his love of Barcelona in general was most impressive. FABULOUS guide, I would give him 10 stars if I could!!! A really well balanced and varied tour with an excellent guide. We visted the food market and stopped for impromptu tapas and visited a shop for a comparative Iberico ham tasting. Francesc knows all the best shops and can adapt to your tastes, so it’s more like spending four hours with a good friend who wants you to see the best of his home city. We enjoyed learning about all aspects of the local culture and we now know our ‘pinchos’ from our ‘tapas’! We wholheartedly recommend Francesc as your guide.

I would recommend Francesc as your guide without hesitation. He made Gaudi come alive and the history was clear and fascinating. The Sagrada Familia was stunning and Francesc was able to show us details big tours would miss.

We would never have learned as much about Barcelona’s top sites without Francesc! We toured a house designed by Gaudi, the Parc Gruell and Sagreda Familia. At each stop, Francesc added information we would never have gotten on our own. He was delightful, charming and very patient with our questions, and his English is great. I would highly recommend him!

Francesc showed us many interesting sites in Barcelona. We wandered through many small alley ways, each leading to something amazing which any average tourist might never find, let alone learn about the history of the town. Also he showed us where the best Hot Chocolate in the world was served in Barcelona. Our entire group loved our tour with Francesc.

This is a great overall tour to see the sites in and around Barcelona. Francesc is very knowledgable and gave us a lot of information about the city he loves. I highly recommend the walking tour with Francesc in addition to this driving tour. You get to see a great mix of tourist sites and local sites.
