“Walking tour of the Old Town” – TBL
Francesc really took his time to explain our route prior to our departure from the hotel. During the path, he stopped several times to explain what we were looking at and the history and architectural design behind it. He is a true pro!

The guide is great, but I did not understand I was to pay for everything and to have cash to do so. I think the tour is over-priced given it pays only for the guide. I would not recommend it as described, but the guide is knowledgeable, friendly, and has a great knowledge of fun things to do.

Francesc’s Response: Hi Denise. As you can read in the Tour Description, Tapas are not included in the cost of the tour. Unfortunately some times we are in a hurry and we don’t read this important parts of the tour description. I don’t include the cost food in the cost of the tour because I prefer that people feel free to eat what they want and not just what the budget includes. It allows you to feel as a local that eat what you want and not just as a traveler

Our art tour with Francesc was fabulous. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw and learned about everything in the Picasso and Miro museums, and I recommend Francesc for any tour in Barcelona. Francesc adapted to what we wanted to do. He was accommodating and very knowledgeable. He made great recommendations at places to eat. He took us to a place to eat indicative of where we were. He was always punctual and easy to communicate with. Would recommend him to all my friends.

It was different of what I frequently do and I found the way to reach all the places that we have agreed before (even Tibidabo hill). We booked a tour with Francesc from Barcelona 365. He was great!! He was very knowledgeable and excited to share it. We were travelling with our 12 year old daughter and her geared some of the tour to her. We would highly recommend Francesc.

Francesc’s Response: Thank you! When I have teenagers in my travellers I always want to catch their attention and to involve them in my explanations. The result is that they keep in mind what they have seen and parents can enjoy the tour as well. Frequently I ask them their opinion or what they are seeing… I have to say that your daughter love to participate and answered my questions. We had 2 day tours with Francesc (Montserrat & Girona) and I have to say that both were very good.. He was fun, enthusiastic & very informative.. He was also very flexible with our family’s needs (seniors & small kids).. Our van on the first day was small & a bit hot & we were pleasantly surprised that he changed to a bigger and better van on our second tour with him (without us requesting this).. Great service! Highly recommended!

By the time I contacted Francesc, about 6 weeks prior to our Barcelona visit, he was already booked during our stay. But his communication was so good: always prompt, full of good ideas, gracious and accommodating — that when he offered to have a colleague take us, we followed our instincts and accepted his proposal. Cayetano was our guide. And he was fantastic! Smart, charming, thoughtful, and a terrific storyteller, Cayetano was great company, good humoured, and full of truly fascinating information. I’m surprised we saw as much as we did in the time we had (6 hours). Cayetano’s discussions of La Sagrada Familia were especially inspiring to our group — and even seemed to attract a few interested onlookers! All told, I wouldn’t change a thing. Francesc steered our trip toward the right arrangement, and Cayetano brought it all to fruition like a seasoned pro. What a wonderful, unforgettable day. Sincere thanks to both.
