Francesc gave us a passionate, knowledgeable and intimate tour of the old city of Barcelona (The Gothic Quarter). We learned many facts and insights as well as gaining an understanding of the soul of Catalonia. He is also very personable and patiently answered all our questions about the history of the city and current popular culture and issues. I give Francesc the highest recommendation and encourage anyone interested in Barcelona to allow him to introduce you to his city and its culture. Great Tour!

“Gaudi Tour: Sagrada Familia and more” –  TBL
We had used Francesc 2 times already and by now we felt like old friends. He did not disappoint us and since we only had one day to fit in all the “important” sites in Barcelona, he chose wisely and we were able to enjoy many of the sights, especially the Sagrada Cathedral. He has so much knowledge about Park Guell and the Cathedral and it was wonderful to be able to have someone who could answer our questions; instead of just taking the audio tour. We highly recommend him for any tour requirements.

Barcelona has been a dream of mine since I was 16 years old and 50 years later,and with the help of our fabulous guide, Francesc, my dream came true!!! Francesc is a very knowledgeable and passionate man about his city, which made this tour so incredible. Our tour of Gaudi’s Park Guell and Sagrada Familia were sights I will never forget, even through my tears!!! If you like unusual architecture, then this is tour for you and Francesc is the guide. Even his recommendations for dinner was fabulous.

With a very short time in Barcelona, this tour along with our guide, Francesc, gave us a wonderful overview of Old Barcelona. From the beautiful Barcelona Cathedral to City Hall to the market place along LaRambla to a hint of what was to come the next day. I so want to come back some day and see more.

My wife and I visited Barcelona this April. The weather was great and our tour guide Fransesc was fantastic. We toured several sites in town before taking a taxi to the Sagrada Familia. The walking tours were wrapped up with a trip thru “old town”. My wife agreed it was the best ever walking guided tours we’ve ever had and a best guide.
Only thing that would have been better is if we had more days to see more sights with Francesc, he was well prepared, totally informed and compleatly fluent in English and several other languages.

We chose Francesc instead of a tour from our cruise ship. It was our best decision. He was waiting at the pier, there were 4 of us and we chose a private limo, which worked out nicely. Our driver was very efficient, maneuvering into streets and parking spots with great ease. One of our group had mobility issues and Francesc was very accommodating. We toured a bit of Old Town, went to Passeig de Gracia, the elegant avenue in Barcelona, saw Gaudi’s home and those of the ool wealthy families and heard the story of their beginnings. We had a wonderful tour of Sagrada Familia and Francesc would stop and give us details about the designs that Gaudi used to tell the stories. Our final stop was a market, La Bouqueria Food Market, I believe, and we saw wonderful displays of olives, fruits, meats and fish. The fish is delivered fresh daily and so many kinds available. We wish we had had longer to visit in this beautiful city but through Francesc we were able to capture the history and also the modern day life.
You won’t be disappointed.

“Wineries Priorat-montsant” –  TBL
Francesc customized this tour based on our desire to visit wineries in the Priorat region. He hired a driver Jorge who was a pleasure to have along and a very competent driver. Francesc chose 4 wineries and each one welcomed us into their vineyards for tastings. We enjoyed all the tastings especially at Clos de l’Obac and Celler Mas Doux where we made several purchases. Francesc always kept us on track and provided us with interesting commentary about the region during our drive. Highly recommend him.

“Tapas & Pinchos en the Old Town with Flamenco” –  TBL
Francesc was a wonderful guide. He took us to 3 places which we would never have walked into (we probably would have not even noticed one of them) and enjoyed the BEST tapas and pinchos of our trip. On our walk he was extremely informative about the history of Barcelona and the architecture of the Old Town. I would highly recommend him.
