Francesc Garcia exceeded our expectations sharing vibrant Barcelona and the Costa Brava. Francesc provided the perfect mix of history and passion that made this trip so special for our group of 12. Francesc guided us with a combination of walking tours and day trips. Francesc is a great guide and using the “whispers” (headsets) made for great commentary while wondering the sites. He is a warm and wonderful representative of Sunny Spain!

Francesc led 4 of us around to the various Gaudi sites in Barcelona in mid-October of this year. As well, he took my husband & I on a one-day tour to Fugeres and Girona. He was informative, organized, efficient (& kept us moving in order to fit it all in!) & pleasant. He engaged us readily and took time to find out about our interests, in particular the Jewish quarters in Girona. There were many stories he had to tell that made it all come alive for us. Great guide & to be recommended.

Excellent guide, guia excelente. Very well educated, answered all the questions we had, did everything on our pace, showed us a lot of history within Gaudi’s works of art. Arrived on time, bought/reserved some tickets in advance so we didn’t miss any time. Could not ask for more.

We were 8 senior ladies traveling together in Spain. We walked from our hotel to the central market and along the way Francesc gave us some interesting insight into the expansion of the city. We walked to the central market; stopped for chocolates and churros and then continued to the Cathedral and Picasso Museum. All during this time Francesc gave us interesting insights into the city; pointed out interesting markers and historical sights, as well as interesting shops along the back streets.

Recently we spent five days in Barcelona. We were fortunate to find Francesc via TripAdvisor and used him for four days as our tour guide. Francesc suggested to us what to see, and due to his knowledge and energy these were unforgettable four days of getting to know Barcelona, its people, history and surroundings. He was able to make us see not only the historical musts, but to appreciate how people lived and live in Barcelona. We also visited Girona and Dali museum, and Francesc converted my wife into Dali follower. So, if you are in Barcelona and can get Francesc to show you his city, do not hesitate; use him and memories will be yours forever.

Eight of us on a tour extension in Barcelona had the pleasure of walking with Monserrat (Monse) through the old quarter of Barcelona. Since we had been touring across Portugal and Spain for 16 days, we wanted a leisurely pace. Monse delivered exactly that. She showed us the hidden gems that we might have missed when we walked the Ramblas for the first time. This was especially true in the Boqueria market where she seemed to know almost all of the vendors. It was exciting to be there on Saturday morning. After two hours, we had a “chocolate stop” at a local shop. All of our group appreciated the commentary and observations. We felt more “in synch” with Barcelona and better understood its attractiveness for visitors. Hopefully we will return. Monse did a great job.

We were recently fortunate to spend a few days in Barcelona and connected with Francesc via TripAdivsor. We organized a private 4 hour tour starting at the airport. Since we were unable to check into our hotel for several hours, this seemed to make the most sense for time. The driver was prompt and easily located upon our arrival. And he drove us straight into the city to meet Francesc. We packed a lot into the remaining tour – but the places we walked (and drove) were perfect and we even managed a quick stop in the Familia Sagrada – which is an absolute must for your trip. It was a quick, fast-paced tour – but it was well worth it. I highly recommend Francesc for your ‘first’ – as there will be more – trip to Barcelona!
