My wife and I took a whole-day (8 hours) tour with Francesc, and we highly recommend this tour and this guide; we both saw and learned so much that we would otherwise certainly have missed on our visit to this fascinating city. As retired teachers ourselves, we appreciated the background and details that Francesc provided at every place; his use of an ipad loaded with historical photos provided a very helpful extra perspective. If you want to really learn, rather than just see, do take this tour.
