Francesc provided an excellent Gaudi tour, explaining both details of interest and an overview of the subject. An effective guide is also a good teacher. He is both. We thoroughly enjoyed spending the time with him.

This was the 2nd 1/2 day tour we did with Francesc & it was as good as the first. We saw so much! He provided great insight and information about Barcelona history and events. We started our visit to Barcelona with Francesc and his guidance made the rest of our visit better. Using taxis and the subway to get around is easy and fast. Getting a confort level with his guidance made us confident to move around by ourselves. He is one of the best guides we’ve ever had. I wish there were six stars.

We had two half days with Francese. This was day one and was outstanding. His insight of the city and Gaudi are incredible. There is no way we could have navigated the city so quickly or gained as much understanding of the venues without him. He seems to know everyone and was able to get us in sites quickly and show us the important points. Just knowing how to to quickly move around the very busy Barcelona is invaluable. He gave us some lunch options that turned out great after the tour.

Francesc is a gracious and delightful « host » for Old Town Barcelona. He started with a helpful map on his digital tablet and took us through a well-planned walking tour. He was responsive to our questions and enthusiastic throughout. Francesc’s English is less proficient than optimal–his accent was sometime difficult for me to negotiate (to be fair, however, my wife did much better)–but his character, knowledge, and enthusiasm deserve the 5-star rating.

Great tour of food market and and Catalan food specialties! Francesa was very knowledgeable and gave a wonderful tour .. especially enjoyed the Iberian ham and cheese tastings

Francesc was WONDERFUL. HE is so knowledgeable, friendly and patient. My older sister has a hip problem and cannot walk fast or alot. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure my sister was able to keep up and not get too tired. We cannot say enough nice things about him….If we could rate him at 100 stars… WE WOULD!!!!!! WE have already recommended him to friends who are planning travel to Barcelona this year. Muchos Gracias Tours by Locals and Francesc!!!! Job well done!!!!!!!!!

Francesc is very knowledgeable about Barcelona, our new favorite European city. We started on day one with Park Buell and Sagrada Familia. (No waiting in line!) and on Day 2 the historic city and Las Ramblas. He also accommodated our desire to visit the Picasso museum and again took us right in past all the lines! Highly recommended as Barcelona is stunning, a real surprise to us. We will definitely return

Francesc provided us with a wonderful tour of 3 Gaudi sites (Park Guell, Sagrada Familia, and La Pedera). He had a wide breadth of knowledge of the sites and gave us valuable insights on their history and significance. All 4 of us enjoyed the tour and highly recommend Francesc. Thank you very much!

We were so lucky to have Francesc as our guide! We are a large family with kids of different ages, but he managed to include everyone and to create inspiration for each one of us! Francesc is smart, professional, attentionate and has great expertise when it comes to Barcelona’s history and the incredible world of Gaudi! We only had one afternoon with Francesc, but we all wished that we had more time to spend with Francesc on tour. We will have to go back to Barcelona and try to book Francesc again!
