“Barcelona Gaudi tour” – Tripadvisor
We arranged a tour with Francesc on very short notice for an afternoon tour of some of Gaudi’s lesser known buildings. Francesc was most accommodating to our needs and provided an excellent personalized 4 hour tour. He is very knowledgable and provided the detail we were looking for. We can highly recommend him!
Francesc’s Response: It was great, because usually I don’t have enough time to visit other “no so common” houses of Gaudi as Casa Vicens, or to see the Casa Fuster, another modernist house by Lluís Domènech i Muntaner. Thanks

We had a wonderful tour and Fransesc, our guide, was wonderful. Friendly, informative and with really interesting answers to any questions, his knowledge of the subject was excellent. He was a great ambassador for Barcelona and it is definitely on our list for a future visit.
Francesc’s Response: Great! I hope you have the opportunity to visit Barcelona soon and we could visit other corners of this city. Thanks for choosing me.
“Fantastic two days in Barcelona” – Tripadvisor I highly recommend Francesc Garcia! We had two days in Barceclona for December 31 and Jan 1. Of all the TripAdvisor tour guides listed, Francesc was the only one to 1) email me back quickly and 2) was willing to work with us on the holiday Jan 1. I actually had other tour guides tell me there was nothing to do that day since it was a holiday!! On the 31st, we combined the 2-four hour tours to get an excellent overview of Barcelona. In the morning we discovered the old town of Barcelona and in the afternoon we discovered the Gaudi Barcelona in the new town. Francesc recommended that we spilt the two days, which I think would have been a good idea as there is so much to see. But unfortunately we did not have that option with the Jan 1 holiday (as most places were closed). Francesc did an excellent job of keeping our interest and our excitement going throughout the day. Not sure where he took us to lunch, but it was our BEST meal the entire trip! Jan 1 Francesc picked us up from our hotel at noon and we went to Montserrat. Instead of just visting the monastary, we also took an hour long hike in the mountains. The hike was the highlight for me as every turn had beautiful scenery. After visiting the monastary, Francesc took us back to Barcelona and introduced us to the famous hot chocolate and pastries. Francesc also helped us book our reservations for dinner each night and a flamenco show too! We had exchanged phone numbers, so I had the option to text him when we weren’t together in case I had questions or concerns. I thought that was a super cool option…and I did end up texting him our first night for restaurant recommendations.
Francesc’s Response: You and your family went to another two good restaurants of Barcelona, but it’s funny that the restaurant you most enjoyed was the most “simple” or less sophisticated. Sometimes the improvised things are the best.
“Personalized tour of Barcelona” – Tripadvisor
3rd or 4th stay in Barcelona: thus, we selected sites we wished to visit again or ones we had missed. These, combined with some suggested by Francesc, required 7 hours (including a brief stop for lunch). We (4 very critical and sophisticated) tourists couldn’t have been more pleased. His tour planning was flawless; and he deserves high praise and superlatives for unexcelled detailed knowledge of relevant art, architecture, and history. He has exemplary awareness of the intellectual expectations and physical abilities/endurance of his guests; and he has a most engaging style of presentation. Count enviable personableness and good humor among his assets, too. Everything considered, this was a deeply satisfying experience, all agreed.
“Wonderful Gaudi Tour” – Tripadvisor
My husband and I just got back from Barcelona where we took advantage of the Gaudi/modernism tour with Francesc. He is an awesome guide! He had a ton of information about Gaudi, the Catalan culture and Spain. He wanted to make sure we covered everything that we wanted to see, but at the same time conscious of our comfort since my husband and I are slow walkers. I would definitely take his other tours next time I’m in Barcelona and would not hesitate recommending him to family and friends.
Francesc’s Response: As you said, the most important is that this tour is your tour, so I try to do it at your own pace and visit what you have decided. Thank you! It would be my pleasure to show you and your husband other parts of my city next time.
“Two wonderful days in Barcelona” – Tripadvisor
Just back from Barcelona and Madris and must say that our tours with Francesc were the highlight of the trip. He is well versed with the history and sights of the area, provided much interesting background and was passionate about the sights! Even our 4 teenagers stayed interested as Francesc was able to keep the sights and info relevant. We would highly recomend Francesc if you want to see, feel and understand Barcelona.

“Montserrat Tour” – Tripadvisor
We were took this tour the day we got off our cruise in Barcelona. Our tour guide Francesc was extremely knowledge and friendly. It was about a 1.5 hour drive to our destinaton and he provided us with a wealth of information and history on Barcelona and Spain itself the whole ride up. Montserrat was beautiful and our Francesc presented a wonderful tour. Our tour ended in the extremely busy Catalunya Square where we disembarked the bus with 8 pieces of luggage to go to our hotel – the Taxi situation was a bit crazy and not speaking Spanish we were a bit overwhelmed. Francesc was terrific and assisted in getting us transportation for us and our luggage. Thank you Francesc! It was an wonder day and my husband and i look forward to returning to Barcelona in the future.
Francesc’s Response: Thanks for your review I’m happy because everything was perfect. I remember when we arrived to Catalonia Square, we could manage to find a taxi very quickly in the middle of this caos. Maybe next time I will deserve 5 stars. Thanks
“Extremely knowledgable and thorough guide” – Tripadvisor
Francesc conducted what turned out to be a 5-hour walking tour of Modernist architecture, including the interior of Casa Mila and Sagrada Familia, but also stops to look at unique pavements and light fixtures on Passaig de Gracia as well as the exteriors of other buildings by Gaudi and other architects. Francesc has a deep knowledge of Catalan history and weaves this into his discussion of architectural features. In addition, he spent time on the exhibits of building models, to explain Modernist innovations and to show how buildings were modified. As trained historians, we are quite demanding of guides. We found Francesc’s tour to be even more than we expected, and the 5-year old with us asked, afterwards, when we could have another guide.
“Monserrat tour” – Tripadvisor This tour and visit of Monserrat was just wonderfull. Everything was very well explained and all answers just perfect. The guide nknew the history of Monserrat but also of Spain and many other places. Just fantastic. And a very nice person with a great personality.
Francesc’s Response: Wowww. Thank you. I always try to connect the local history with the Spanish and Catalan history; in this way clients can understand better why things have happened. I appreciate your review. Thanks again.
